Every realtor wants more traffic for their website. After all, isn’t that the whole objective of having a web site? But traffic doesn`t just happen by itself. Here are four easy ways to increase your website traffic:
Advertise. Let your neighborhood know that your site exists. Every time you advertise in the local paper, or every time you put up a sign in a seller`s yard, make sure your website address is on it.
Partner. Exchange links with relevant partners. Include them on your web site and make sure you are included on theirs. Choose relevant partners such as other agents within your office, lawyers, mortgage brokers, and home inspectors..
Syndicate. Make sure your listings are syndicated through popular real estate sites like Trulia, Oodle, Google Base and Zillow. This will bring traffic to your site and increase the search engine visibility of your site.
Collateralize your URL. That’s right include the site name on every piece of business collateral you have – business cards, envelopes, signs, posters, stationery, your email signature – everything!
These four activities are good cornerstones for your traffic building efforts. Develop a thoughtful and consistent program to develop each of these activities and you’ll find that your website traffic -- and your business -- will grow substantially.
